Wanda Masters Obituary

Wanda Gayle Masters, 72, widow of Johnny Masters, left her earthly home on Thursday, June 4, surrounded by her children Sharon Webb, husband Jeff, Jennifer Shearer, husband Lee and Johnny Masters, Jr. wife Crystal.  Wanda was a native of Jessamine County one of 3 children born to the late Clay and Minnie Frances Robinson Cartwright.  She loved crafting, quilting, sewing, baking, and making candy.  She was also a retired employee of Hospital Specialty where she was a machine operator.  In addition to her children she will be fondly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her many nieces, nephews and extend family members and friends. She was preceded in death by brother Eddie Cartwright and sister Patsy Burkhart. Her family will have a private inurnment service at Maple Grove Cemetery and following the Service she will be laid to rest beside her husband. “If ever there comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.  I’ll stay there forever”.   Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home values nothing more that the trust given to us by the Masters family to care for their mother.
