Thomas "Tommy" Wyman Obituary

On Tuesday March 19, 1963, Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Wyman entered the world in Nicholasville, KY, born to the late Oswald Lee and Dorothy Peel Wyman. The #1 song at that time was “Our Day Will Come” by Ruby and the Romantics.  Tommy left his earthly home  on April 7, 2024, while a patient at Baptist Health Lexington.  The owner of Wyman Fencing, he had fenced for Chrisman Mill Winery and many other local properties. Tommy was a former employee of the Kentucky State Road Department, and in his free time, he loved to  hunt for deer, rabbits and squirrel.  Fishing was also a passion for him. His favorite color was camouflage. He is survived by his wife Tara Teater Wyman, his loving daughter Kassie Wyman Peck, her husband Stu, her mother Michelle Masters Wyman, sisters Vernie Clark, her husband Earl, Denise Wyman, and Brenda Harrison, her husband Donald, and special lifetime friends Jeff Crutcher and Russell McClure, along with many other extended family members and friends.  Tommy was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Lee Wyman just last year. On Friday April 12 at 1:00 PM  a Remembrance Service will be held at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Brother Mickey Stinnett officiating.  Tommy will be laid to rest following the Service in Maple Grove Cemetery.  Honoring him as pallbearers will be Earl and Brandon Clark, Ryan Bryant, James Wyman, and Donald and Glenn Harrison.  Honorary bearers will be Jeff Crutcher and Russell McClure.  The Family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 4:00 PM on Thursday April 11 and ending at 8:00 PM, and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of Service.  “When I’m gone and I come to the end of my journey, just forget if you can, that I ever frowned and remember only the smile and the good I have done.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more that the trust and loyalty given to us by the Wyman Family.
