Rosetta “Rosie” (Lee) Huddleston

Rosetta “Rosie” Huddleston, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 17, 2021, at Baptist Health Care.  She was one of 7 children, all who have preceded her in death, born to the late Larkin and Martha Rutherford Lee. She was a native of Jessamine County born Oct. 14, 1934. Rosie was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church and a devoted member of the Jessamine County Senior Center. Enjoying her friends there was an important part of her life, as well as her daily phone calls to those close to her.  She will be fondly remembered by her children Carolyn Cheek, husband Ricky, Donna Nye, husband Scott, Timothy Hurt, wife Vicki, Mathew Huddleston and Peter Huddleston, wife Chrystal  and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.  Rosie was preceded in death by daughters Debra  Johnson and Verna Joyce Sparks.  There will be a Graveside Remembrance on Wed Dec. 22, in the Keene Cemetery where she will be laid to rest at 1:30 PM.  Her family will greet friends beginning at  12:00 Noon on Wednesday until 1:00 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.  “If there ever comes a day when  we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.  I’ll stay there forever.”  Donations may be made to the Jessamine County Senior Center in her memory.
