Roger Kemplin Obituary

Roger Allen Kemplin, 56, born Sept. 24, 1963, the son of the late Stanley Ray and Patsy Sue Wells Kemplin, left his earthly home on Feb. 15, 2020.  He was a US Navy veteran and was self employed as a tree trimmer and handyman for the last 20 years.  Roger was a special person who touched several people's lives in many ways with his concern and compassion.  We only now realize the impact he had on those that he worked for during his time here in Jessamine County.  Even with his challenges, Roger always managed to care for others and those who knew him came to care deeply for him and wanted as much for him as they want for themselves.  He will be remembered fondly by many in our community. He is survived by a son Roger Kemplin of Washington State and daughter Natasha Nicole Kemplin of Oregon, a brother Randy Kemplin and sister Ladrenda Grantham, as well as many special friends.  There will be a Remembrance Memorial held by Rev. Bill Bales at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home  2 PM  Wednesday March 18.    Donations to help with funeral expenses can be brought or mailed to Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, 207 W. Oak St., Nicholasville, KY 40356.
