June (Estridge) Helton

June Estridge Helton, 89, widow of Albert Willis Helton since 2011,  joined him in eternal rest on Sat. June 11, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  June was a native of Pittsburg, KY born March 29, 1933, to the late Oliver Perry and Effie Mae Pennington Estridge being one of their 8 children, of which 7 have preceded her in death, as well as a grandson Timothy Anderson.  June was employed for 20 years by K-Mart and after retiring was employee of Kroger. In earlier years she worked in Quality Control for Decca records in Ohio and always considered this her favorite job.  She also enjoyed playing slot machines, crafting, with grapevine wreaths, gardening, and was an avid house cleaner.  She leaves fond memories with children Star Anderson, husband Donald, Albert Willis Helton, Jr., wife Ruth, Jerry Helton (Rhonda), grandchildren Jonathan Anderson, wife Jeni,  Laura Kelly, husband Matthew, Carrie Trenary, husband Doug, Jeremy Helton, 6 great grandchildren McKenzie Draime, husband Timothy, Hunter Anderson, Haden Kelly, Parker Kelly, Carson Ternary, Matthew Anderson, and great great grandchildren Rhett and Ryleigh Draime and Presley Gibson.  A Remembrance service will be held 12:00 PM (noon) Thursday June 16, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, following which she will be laid to rest beside her husband in Maple Grove Cemetery.  Her grandson and grandsons-in-laws will honor her as Pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10 AM on Thursday until Service time at Noon.
