Janice Sue Smith, 83, loving wife of Robert Leslie Smith, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 1, at her home surrounded by her devoted family. She was a native of Burkesville, KY born Oct. 23, 1938, to the late Rufus Marlin and Mary Lucille Graves McCormick. She attended Jessamine Christian Church and played golf at Lone Oak Country Club. Janice was a devoted employee of Macy’s, where she worked in the Linen Department until her retirement. In addition to her husband, she leaves her memories with a son Gregg Leslie Smith. In accordance to her wishes, cremation was chosen and her cremains will be interred at a private family service in the Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, Kentucky where her parents rest. “You have been an amazing person; having had you in my life completed and fulfilled every part of me.” Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home and Cremation Services value you nothing more than the trust given to us by the Smith family to care for the arrangements of their loved one.
