Flora Loudin, 92, widow of George Loudin since 1984, joined him in eternal rest on Saturday, Oct 5, 2019, at Bradford Square Nursing Home in Frankfort, KY. Flora was a native of Bell County born Feb. 14, 1927 to the late Ervin”Bud” and Nancy Jane Honeycutt Wombles. Flora was a homemaker who loved to sew and making soft blankets for her grandchildren who called them “softies” and was talented in putting together quilts as well as being a good cook. Her family was alway foremost in her life. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted daughter Bobbie J. Baker, brother Alford Wombles, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous other extended family members. She was preceded in death by Billy Ray, Harold and Lana Sue Smith swell as 7 brothers and sisters. A Graveside Remembrance will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 3:00 PM. “Her life was a blessing and her memory will be a treasure, Flora will be missed beyond measure”.
