Everett J. Mullins, Sr.

Everett J. Mullins, Sr., 73, joined his wife Constance “Connie” in eternal rest Friday, October 23, 2020.  He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.  He was the owner of Mullins Floor Service and was a talented floor man, at times known as “The Angry Floor Man!”; his work spoke for him.  He liked going to the races, loved to hunt and fish, and enjoyed watching boxing and westerns.  He had a heart of gold.  Everett loved his dog Roscoe.  He left us too soon, but left us with many memories.  Put it this way—No 7-11 coffee cup was safe!  Holding fond memories in their hearts are his children Brenda Ponce, husband Chris, Dora Michelle Grosinsky, husband Greg, and Everett “Buddy” Mullins, Jr.; grandchildren Christopher, Ronnie, Kameron, Ariana, Dawson, Greggie, Timothy, Lexie, Logan, Chandler, and Aiden; and great grandchildren Keegan, Kendall, Hayden, Anyston, and Harleigh; and mother-in-law Julia Ann Tate. Everett leaves his childhood memories with sisters Wanda Cheek, Devona Puckett, and Wilma Watts, and his brothers Michael Mullins and George Mullins.  In addition to his wife Constance “Connie” Kyzer Mullins, he was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Dora Fraley Mullins, two brothers, and a sister.  Everett will be laid to rest with his wife at Mullins Family Cemetery, Rt. 36, Menifee County, following a Graveside Remembrance Service at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28.  “I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.  I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust of the Mullins Family to care for Everett.
