Wayne Wright

Wayne Wright, 75, husband of Ann, left his earthly home on Monday, August 8, at Baptist Health Care. He was a native of Woodford County, born May 20, 1941, to the late John and Lillian Curtis Wright. Wayne was a US Army veteran and attended Southland Christian Church. He was a member of the AMA Club and loved flying and building model airplanes. Wayne also had a passion for riding his Harley motorcycle. In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory a son Stennis French, grandson Perry French, brothers-in-law Ben Markell and Donnie Bradshaw,sisters-in-law Louise Wright and Bonnie Shelley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Paul Wright and sisters Ada Carol Markell and Evelyn Hardy. A Remembrance Service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 13, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with entombment in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, August 12, at the Funeral Home. Donations may be made in his memory to Friends of Jessamine County Animals. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to assist Wayne's family.
