Walter Thomas Perrin Profile Photo

Walter Thomas Perrin, beloved son of Anna Davis Perrin, entered his heavenly home on May 12, 2025 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center. Walter was born June 14, 1947 in Nicholasville, KY to Anna and the late Edward Theodore Perrin. He was a proud veteran of the US Army, having served from 1966-1969, with part of that service in Vietnam. Walter was a current member of the American Legion Post 18 Honor Guard and a former member of the American Legion Post 63 Honor Guard. By trade, he was a skilled self-employed carpenter. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and playing billiards with friends, and especially playing golf. In addition to his mother, Walter leaves wonderful memories with his “grandbabies” Natalie Reynolds, Hadley Wilson, and Evan Reynolds, all of whom he dearly loved. Besides his father, Walter was preceded in death by his son William Thomas Perrin, his brother Michael Wayne Perrin, and a special friend Marsha Reynolds. A Remembrance Service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, following which Walter will be laid to rest in Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 2:30 PM with Military Honors. His family will greet friends Thursday at the funeral home beginning at 10:30 AM until time of the service. “Taps: Day is done, gone the sun from the lake, from the hill, from the sky. All is well, safely rest. God is nigh.” All arrangements are under the direction of Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, and we would like to express our deepest sympathy to Walter’s family and friends.
