Wilmore: Walter Marcus, 94, of Wesley Village died Wednesday. He was the widower of Maxine H. Marcus and a retired zoo keeper for the City of Lansing, Michigan. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lansing and loved hunting, fishing, and traveling. He is survived by his children Virginia Marcus, Nicholasville, Dr. Philip Marcus wife Sally, Conn., Marilyn Marcus, Simpsonville, and Lt. Col. Kevin Marcus wife Cynthia, Belgium, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a sister Frances Mathis, TN. And several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services were held 4 PM at Wilmore Cemetery on Saturday. Family and friends shared fellowship on Sat. at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home before the service.
