In the early morning of February 5, 2026, Trevor Jerome Ogden slipped peacefully from the arms of his devoted wife, Casey, into the arms of his Savior. Though their time on earth together was far too brief, their love was one for the ages. Casey’s servant’s heart was visible as she cared for Trevor and was a blessing not only to Trevor, but also to his family.

As he passed from this life into his eternal one, Trevor was surrounded by his family and friends who both grieved their profound loss and rejoiced in Heaven’s gain. Trevor became free from the only real enemy he ever had - Cancer. His courageous three-year battle was not a loss, as we rest assured that his suffering is over and we will join him one day in Heaven.

Trevor was born to Preston and Rebecca “Becky” (Moore) Ogden on March 1, 2004. They loved and raised him to be the kind, honest, hard-working person he grew to be, but the most important thing they did was teach him about Jesus. Trevor was a faithful believer for much of his life, but his walk with Christ matured and grew as he trusted and relied on Him to bring him through the daily challenges of living with cancer. He, and later Casey, worshipped at Bethel Harvest Church.

In addition to his parents, Trevor is loved and missed by his surviving relatives. Siblings Garrett (wife Haley) Ogden and Kris (wife Kelsey) Ogden, nephew Gatlin Ogden, paternal grandparents Willie and Johnetta Ogden, paternal Uncle Bodie (Jon Ogden) and Aunt Lori, maternal uncles Edward Moore Jr. (wife Terri), Levi Moore (wife Rene), as well as many cousins who are all left with endless cherished memories from the time they shared with Trevor.

Trevor was blessed to be adopted into Casey’s loving family. Casey’s mother and stepfather Laura and Tim Ryan, and her father and stepmother Brett and Annie Rachford quickly became dear to Trevor as did her maternal grandfather Ron Shuley and paternal grandparents Tim Rachford and Janice Rachford. Through his friendship with Ethan and Jonah Roszkowski, Trevor first met Casey and now counts them as his “bonus siblings” along with Casey’s other brothers- Sean Murphy, Liam, and Hunter Roszkowski and Timothy Hamilton; and her two sisters Chandler and Sophie Roszkowski.

Trevor loved, and was loved by all of his extended family, but shared a special closeness with his cousin, Grace Ogden, who was more like a sister to him.

Awaiting Trevor in Heaven are his maternal grandparents Edward Moore Sr. and Betsy Turner Moore, cousin Brandon Ogden, and paternal great-grandparents John and Marie Preston and Casey’s maternal grandmother Judy Allen Shuley.

Trevor had a large group of friends that he spent countless hours with doing all the things they loved. Trevor was so proud of his diesel truck. He loved working on trucks, talking about trucks and trail riding in his Honda Talon. He was a “country boy” at heart who loved his boots and jeans and enjoyed farming, fishing, and hunting. He obtained his CDL and was proud to work alongside his father, Preston, driving a dump truck in the family business - Ogden Enterprises. Trevor amassed a large following on his #TrevorStrong Facebook page (over 2,500 at last count), but they represent only a fraction of those whose lives that were made better by knowing him. Though your name may not be listed, Trevor made sure you knew how loved each of you were to him.

During his battle with lung cancer, Trevor was cared for by the special nurses and staff of 5F and 6B units at Baptist Health Lexington, where he spent his last 57 days. This incredible team blessed Trevor and Casey by taking care of every detail of their wedding day (including rings, a dress, flowers, and cake), then worked tirelessly to ease his transition from his earthly home. His oncologist, Dr. Shawn Peterson, fought valiantly alongside Trevor to win the battle against the brutal disease. The Baptist Health palliative care team was also an immense blessing throughout his fight. Words cannot adequately express the gratitude his family has to these, and countless others, who gave their time and talents to care for Trevor and his family.

His time on Earth was far too brief, but Trevor left a vast legacy of memories to those who were blessed to have known and love him. He will be missed, but his family have peace knowing that his suffering is over they will be reunited in Heaven one day.
