SSG Jerry Lee Seabolt

Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to be chosen by Thomson-Hood Veterans Center to honor Jerry Lee Seabolt, 67, who was a Vietnam War Veteran. Jerry served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War was discharged to the US Marine Reserves and enlisted in the US Army in which he served over 6 years earning a Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm; Presidential Unit Citation; Meritorious Unit Citation:Sharpshooter Rifle along with other distinguished medals. He was a native of Sparta, TN and had been a resident of Lexington employed by the Kroger Company as a produce specialist for many years at the Tates Creek Center location until illness would not permit his living alone. Thomson Hood and staff have provided Jerry with the care and friendship needed to make his last days meaningful. Shirley Terrell was a special friend along with many others that were made while he traveled through this life. All will remember him with fondness. Graveside Honors will take place 1:30 PM Tuesday, August 30, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
