Nicholasville: Ruth Evelyn Jones, 73, of Georgetown, died Sat., May 5, at the home of her daughter in Lexington. A native of Jackson County she was born Oct. 3, 1933, to the late O. F. and Emily York Sanders. She was a retired employee of Square D. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Glyndon Jones, her daughter Suzanne Dolt and husband Chris, Lexington, a brother Virgil Sanders, a grandson Michael Shadoan, 2 step grandchildren Jimmy and Nathan Dolt and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Opal Cheek Brown and 2 brothers Orbin Ray Sanders and Delbert Sanders.
Services will be 1:00 PM Wed., May 9, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Riggs officiating, burial in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
