Paul Carson

Paul Carson, devoted father and grandfather, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. He was born July 15, 1948 in Highbridge, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Adaline Sallee Carson, one of their nine children. Paul worked in concrete for most of his adult life, both as the owner of Carson Construction & Excavating for 45 years and as co-owner of Central Ready Mix. His other passion was raising cattle, which he had done since around 1990. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and hunting pheasant and quail. Paul leaves precious memories with his daughters Paula Jasper and Shannon Carson, his eight grandchildren Kaihlab Fain, Amanda Jasper, Trent Brock, Madison Jasper, Connor Carson, Logan Brock, Jared Carson, and Morgan Jasper, his seven great-grandchildren Kaihlee, Cecilia, Caden, Cooper, Skylar, Adelynn, and Theo, and his brothers Gerald, Clyde, Carl and sister Norma Jean. Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by two children Kelly Carson and Shane Carson, and his life-time companion Wanda Gail Turock. At his request, no services have been scheduled. Paul’s family will honor him privately. All arrangements are entrusted to Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, and we extend our sincere sympathy to the Carson family and friends.
