Nicholasville: Morris E. Scott, 66, of Corman Dr. died Wed., at Georgetown Community Hospital. A native of Garrard County he was born April 17, 1943, to the late Kenneth and Marie Blakeman Scott. Morris was the loving husband of Choyce Works Scott for 44 years and the father of 3 sons Kenneth, wife Karen, Kevin, wife Teresea, and Kristopher Scott, wife Amanda and a daughter Kimberly Turpin husband Leon. Additional survivors are 2 brothers Kenneth T. Scott, Frankfort, and Eugene Scott, wife Ruby, Carrollton, and a sister Brenda Best, GA. as well as 12 grandchildren Kandi, Kyle, Brandon, Zachary, Amber, Malakiah, Hannah, Tristan, Kaylee, Emma Grace, Kayla, and Megan. He had been an employee of Hammond Trucking in Georgetown and a veteran of the US Army having served for 8 years.
Graveside Service at Camp Nelson National Cemetery was held on Tues., at 1:30 PM. Visitation was Mon. from 6 to 8 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Guest book and tribute www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com
