Millard Clinton Morgan passed away peacefully at his home on September 29th after a brief illness. He was 91 years old and resided in Lexington with his loving wife of 70 years, Betsy Emmitt Morgan. His parents were Willie and Bertie Gray Morgan. They were originally from Bath Co. (Sharpsburg) and later moved to Fayette Co.

Remaining relatives are his devoted sister, Dorothy Morgan Thompson of Wilmore.

His grandchildren are Aleshia Morgan, and Andrea Morgan. Great grandchildren are Ronnie Lane Morgan, Braylee Barker, and Lauren Morgan.

Surviving is a special niece and caregiver, Faye Halloran. More family include, Linda (Carlton) Gay, Cathy Thompson, Amy Shearer, Jennifer Holland and nephew Joe (Shelia) Sargent and numerous cousins.

Predeceased family members are sons, Ronald Clinton Morgan and Richard Dale Morgan (nickname) Ricky.

Previously deceased siblings are brother, Ed Morgan, and sisters, Mary Ellen Sargent, Christine Clem, and Anna Morgan.

Millard served in the U.S. Army. He was a fourth generation, farmer and award winning, Bluegrass Horse pulling association member. His life's passion was farming, horses and he never met a stranger.

As he retired from cattle and farming, he was employed by Taylor Made Horse Farm for 27 years.

Millard was a member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church. He was very proud to be a Christian and telling everyone about Jesus Christ.

Pallbearers are Billy Morris, Ricki Poor, Tom Bettenhausn, Jeff Reister, Patrick McNutt, Frank Taylor, and Jimmy Bowman. Honorary Pallbearers are Dink Hager, Bryan Hager, and Mitchell Coyle.

Visitation is Monday evening, Oct. 6th 4-7 pm and Funeral service is Tuesday, Oct. 7th at 11am at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Burial will be at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
