Martha L. Coffman Merryman, 88, departed this life on Mon., June 13. A native of Mercer County she was born May 15, 1923, to the late Barney and Connealia Crutchfield Coffman. She was a member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church and loved gardening, canning, and cooking for family gatherings. She leaves to mourn her passing a son Herbert ‘Steve’ Merryman whose father was the late Herbert Merryman of Woodford County, a sister Frankie Bradshaw, Louisville, 2 nieces Carol White, Somerset and Deena Smiley, Louisville, cousin Connie Cox, Wilmore, and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 1:00 PM Thurs., June 16, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service Thursday. She will be laid to rest in Shawnee Run Baptist Church Cemetery, in Mercer County.
