Luther Huston Cobb

Luther Huston Cobb, , 85, husband of Doris Rose "Dottie" Teater Cobb, entered into eternal rest on Sat. at his home with his family close by his side. He was a native of Jessamine County born Jan. 8, 1929, to the late Luther and Eudell Hager Cobb. Huston owned Cobb Mechanical Welding Service and was known to be one of the best mechanics and could repair anything for his customers. He was a member of the Hart Lodge and the Olieka Shriners as well as the Nicholasville United Methodist Church. In addition to his loving wife of 64 years he leaves his memories with a son Ricky Cobb, granddaughter Autumn Sallee McKenzie, husband Adam, great grandchildren Gavin, Emmerson, and Peyton McKenzie, and sister Pauline McDowell along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Terri Cobb Sallee and brother Eulan Cobb. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, Sept. 26, at the Nicholasville United Methodist Church where his family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until time of his Service. As was his request cremation was under the direction of Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.
