Nicholasville: Luis A. Garcia, 85, of Blueberry Lane, formerly of Winchester, died Sunday at St. Joseph Ambulatory Care Center. He is the widower of Felicita Garcia who died in 1994. He was a native of Puerto Rico, a US Army veteran and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winchester. Luis had worked in maintenance for the Winchester City Police for many years. Survivors include his daughters Norma Bledsoe, Lexington and Sonia Smallwood, Nicholasville, 6 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter.
Service will be 7 PM Wed., at St. Luke Catholic Church, Nicholasville, burial in the National Cemetery in Puerto Rico. Arrangements were placed in the care of Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Sign guest book www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com
