Kevin Wells

Kevin Wells 68, father of Kimberly Stonerock, husband Joe, and Shawn, wife Caroline joined his brother W.D. Wells and brother-in-law Bobby Sallee at the river on Monday August 31, born on Jan. 23, 1958 to the Laye William D. And Sonja Southworth Wells in Fayette County but was a life long resident of Jessamine County. He was a former employee of Sargent & Greenleaf where he worked as a lock master. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds Baseball team and the UK Basketball team. He loved country cooking as well as spending time with the grandbabies. In earlier times he loved to raise tobacco and farm. In addition to his children he leaves many memories with his sister April Sallee, and his grandchildren Justin and Jacob Burdine, Bailey Shelton, husband Hunter, and Landon Wells. He will be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM on Friday September 4 at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home and he will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery following the Service. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Timothy Wells, Keith Wells, Jacob Burdine, Lowell Duncan, Troy Sallee, Denton Ross. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM and end at 8:00 PM on Thursday Sept, 3 at the Funeral Home. “His life was a blessing his memory, a treasure, he was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure”.
