Julia Elizabeth Ashcraft

Julia Elizabeth Epperson Ashcraft, 79, died on Thursday, Nov.15, at her home after courageously enduring cancer. She was the widow of James C. Ashcraft who died in 2007.

A native of Stanton, KY she was born Nov. 17, 1932, to the late Minter and Clemma Napier Epperson. Julia was a retired employee of GTE where during her 23 years she worked in many different capacities ending her career in Inventory Control. She was an avid UK Basketball fan, a Lioness, and Kentucky Colonel . When asked she always said her greatest accomplishment was her 3 sons.

She is survived by Jerry Prewitt, Nancy Parvin, Ted Prewitt wife Laura, and Arnold Prewitt, wife Janet, 10 grandchildren Timmy Prewitt, wife Lyndsay, Julie Prewitt, fianc
