Judie Karpuleon, 81, widow of Benny Karpuleon Sr., went to be with her Savior on June 14, 2026.
A native of Jessamine County, Judie was the daughter of the late Raymond (June) Davis and Dorothy Cartwright Davis. She was a faithful member of Nicholasville Baptist Church. Judie retired from Time Warner Cable after many years of service and also enjoyed selling Avon.
She is survived by her son, Benny (Frankie) Karpuleon; two grandchildren, Travis Wise (fiancée, Courtney Cooper) and Lucas Karpuleon (wife, Alisha Karpuleon); two great-granddaughters, McKinlee Wise and Nellie Karpuleon; two great-grandsons, Layton and Benson Karpuleon; two bonus great-grandsons, Noah and Liam Cooper; three sisters, Linda Davis, Brenda Hopkins, and Charlotte Davis; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Judie was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Wise; her great-grandson, Creed Karpuleon; three sisters, Evelyn McCollum, Ann Brent, and Diana Price; her brother, Charles Davis; and her brothers-in-law, James Davis, Arvin Brent, Cotton Hopkins, and Bobby McCollum.
Judie will be remembered for her faith, devotion to her family, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends for generations to come.
Visitation will be held at Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Remembrance Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 at 1:00PM. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
