Wilmore: John Clinton Lamb, 73, of Lowry Lane formerly of College St. died Tuesday at St. Joseph East Hospital. A native of Wilmore he was born May 13, 1936, to the late John David and Frona M. Lamb. John was the widower of Deanna Marie Land Lamb who died in 2008, a veteran of the US Army, and a retired employee of the Trane Company. Survivors include his son John Clinton Lamb II, CA., his daughter Julia Johnson, husband James, Nicholasville, a grandson David Johnson, Timothy and Bobby Lee Estes who adopted him as their grandfather, a sister in law Ursula Lamb, along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Evely and Leonard Fitch officiating. He will be laid to rest with his wife at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. The staff at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lamb family.
