John William Gulley - Born August 12, 1913, in Normal IL, died May 29, 2011, in Lake Panasoffkee FL. Preceded in death by wife Doshia Lovings Gulley; parents Clayton and Genora Gulley; brother James Sidney Gulley; and sisters Opal McCord, Catherine Kerns, Geneva Stocker, Ruby Price, and Ada Gulley. Survived by son Myron (Linda) Gulley; daughters Dorothea (John) Vest, and Ida (Mike) Damrel; six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Mr. Gulley retired from the University of Kentucky, Department of Plant Pathology, as a lab technician. Visitation will be on Sunday June 5, 2011, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Hager-Cundiff Funeral Home in Nicholasville KY. Graveside services will be on Monday, June 6, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Lexington KY. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
