Nicholasville: Jessie True, 85, of Royal Manor Nursing Home, died Sunday Sept. 21, 2008. Born Dec. 14, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Cora Brewer Hensley. She was the widow of Willie True who died in 1988. Jessie was a homemaker and also served as a nurses aid. She is survived by a son Bennie True, Nicholasville, a brother Jerry Hensley, FL., a sister Dillie Blough, FL., 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Williiam ‘Bill’ True, Jr., a daughter Helen Lowrey, and 10 brothers and sisters.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wed., Sept. 24, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Marshall officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Danny Gossett, Andy Gossett, Ray Smith, Mike Vickers, Ryan Stephens, and Mark Stinnett. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Tues. Sept. 23, at the funeral home.
