Henry Lee Maggard

Henry Lee Maggard, 54, of Lancaster left his earthly home Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY.  He was the son of Ruth Ray, husband Albert, and the late Marion Maggard.  Henry was a self-employed handy man who worked on barns and liked mowing and weed-eating.  He attended Nicholasville Baptist Church and especially enjoyed sitting on his porch in his rocking chair.  Besides his mother and stepfather, he leaves his memory with his brother Wayne Maggard, stepsister Sheryl Mastin, husband Bruce, stepbrother Albert Ray, Jr., and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife Loretta Brim Maggard and his sister Cheryl Maggard.  Cremation was chosen, and a family gathering will be scheduled at a later date.  “When someone you love becomes a memory . . . that memory becomes a treasure.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than trust placed in us to care for Henry and his family.
