Gregory Dean May, 44, loving husband of Dana Reynolds May, left his earthly home on May 7, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada while attending an Inventors Convention. His passion was inventing and he was there with his latest invention that he had been excited about. He was a native of Lexington, Ky., born August 15, 1974. In addition to inventions Greg loved dune buggies, four wheelers, fishing, boating and being on the water. He enjoyed woodworking, finishing floors, and family get togethers—especially dinners; his philosophy was a family that ate together stayed together. Greg was a good person, always willing to help anyone, even if he had to sacrifice himself to help out a person in need. In addition to his wife, he will be fondly remembered by his parents Terry and Rose Tallman, children Brittany and Katie May, Lacey and Mike Reynolds and Craig Peel, grandchildren Patience and Autumn Reynolds, brothers Matt May, wife Stacey, and Frank Tallman, nephews Cody, Tyler, and Austin and nieces Sophia land Madelyn. He will be remembered by a special friend who he considered a brother Gary Lay. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Dean May and nephew Matthew May. A Remembrance Service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, following which Greg will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Craig Peel, Derek Puckett, David Puckett, Matt May, Mike Reynolds, and A.J. Bocska. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Lay and Frank Tallman. His family will greet friends beginning at 4:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 21, at the funeral home. “I’m dancing with the Angels in my new home, and I want you to know; that I’m okay”. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to be chosen by Greg’s family to care for him.
