Edward Lawrence Simpson, 69, of Harrodsburg, died at Central Baptist Hospital on Monday, Sept. 10, after a short illness. He was a native of New York born July 17, 1943.
He was a self employed general contractor who loved bird watching and reading. He is survived by his children Sarah Simpson-Wagner and Ed Simpson, his 2 granddaughters Scarlett and Shelbi Simpson, a sister Ann Simpson, and close friend Melinda Rassigo. He was preceded in death by sister Eileen.
His cremation was under the careful direction of Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. The family is planning a private Remembrance Service at a later date. Guestbook www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com
