Doris “Dottie” Rose Cobb, 95 widow of Luther Huston Cobb since 2014, left her earthly home on Nov. 8 while an inpatient at St Joseph Hospital. She was born on August 1,1930, in Jessamine County one of the five children of the late William “Bill” and Christine Brooks Teater. She was a bookkeeper for many years as well as a loving Mother who loved to cook, grow flowers both inside and outside her home. She enjoyed watching the leaves turn color in the fall and also enjoyed her friends. She is survived by her son Ricky and a granddaughter Autumn McKenzie and the delight of her life great grandchildren Payton, Emily and Gavin McKenzie. She will be fondly remembered by nieces Julie Nipp, Caroline Buie, and Kelly Thompson and a devoted cousin Mona Waling. She will be greeted in heaven by her daughter Terry Cobb, brothers Robbie Teater, Kirby Teater, and William Floyd Teater and sister Pat Benton. A Memorial Service will be held on Nov. 20, at 7:00 PM in the Nicholasville Methodist Church where she was a member.
