Donald Ray Bradshaw

Donald Ray Bradshaw, 84, loving father of Kim Nieland, husband Mike and Donna Currans, entered into eternal rest on Sunday August 2, 2025 while a resident of Nicholasville Nursing and Rehab. He is a native of Jessamine County, born Feb. 27,1941, to the late Herman and Elsie West Bradshaw. Donnie worked for the Richmond Manor Apartments in Maintenance where he lived for many years. Donnie loved animals, especially his favorite dog Blackey, who he adopted upon the death of a dear friend. In early years he enjoyed fishing and always loved to listen to Loretta Lynn music. In addition to his daughters he leaves precious memories with his sisters Ann Wright and Bonnie Shelly as well as grandchildren Leslie Baker, Amanda Faulkner, Andy Currans and Mark Currans as well as 6 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. A Remembrance Service will be held 1:00 PM until Wednesday at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home and his family will greet friends beginning at 10:0 AM until time of Service. He will be laid to rest in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens beside his Mother. “His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, he was loved beyond words, and will be missed beyond measure."
