Nicholasville: Della Adams, 86, widow of James W. Bruner, Sr. died Sat. Dec. 18, at the home of her daughter in Wilmore. A native of Woodford County she was born Jan. 7, 1924, to the late Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Adams. Della had been an employee of Irvin Air Chute and Vogue Rattan for many years. Survivors include a daughter Barbara Osten, husband Earl, sons Lloyd Bruner, wife Patricia, J. W. Bruner, Jr. wife Katrina, and Wayne Bruner, wife Gail, 4 grandchildren Jennifer Lapasnick, Stephanie Smith, Laura Reynolds, and Phillip Handley, 6 great grandchildren Faith and Jadon Lapasnick, Olivia Smith, Emily Reynolds, Phillip Jordan and Dylan Handley, and a brother Howard Adams, wife Hannah. She was preceded in death by a sister Jenny Powers.

Services will be 1:00 PM Tues., Dec.21, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Sholar officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Nonesuch Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Chris Reynolds, Kevin Adams, Nate Hollon, Eugene Edwards, Will Pettit, and Tim Canter. Honorary bearers will be Ralph canter, Jim Bob Adams, Bob Bruner, Jim Cook, and Ernest Lancaster. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Mon. Dec. 20, at the funeral home.
