Davina (Vina) Louise Burus

September, 26, 1958 - July, 25, 2011

Davina ‘Vina’ Louise Burus, 52, of Wilmore, joined her son Jason in death at her home on Monday, July 25th. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, August 4th at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Her cremains will be placed in Hillcrest Memorial Park with her son who died in 2009.

Vina was a native of Lexington born Sept. 26, 1958, to David and Vivian L. McCann Barker. She was a salesperson having worked in hardware stores in and around Lexington. In addition to her parents she is survived by a son Michael Burus, a sister Denise Barker, nephew Deven Barker, and special friends Angie Lafferty and Wes Thompson. She was preceded in death by a son Christopher Jason Burus in 2009 and a sister Dawn Barker in 2007. A Special Thanks to the Burus Family, Ina, Cecil, Sr., Cindy, and Linda in the care and friendship they extended to Vina.
