David Earl Dickerson

David Earl Dickerson, 83, loving husband of Sue Richie Dickerson for over 65 years joined his three sisters Jona Dyer, Martha Floyd, and Etta Redmond, and bother Hayden Dickerson in eternal rest. David was a native of Madison County, KY born February. 5, 1943, to the late Vardy Taylor and Bertha Conner Dickerson. He was self employed in commercial refrigeration. David was devoted to mission work and was honored to have made 3 different trips to spread the word of God with the World Changers. In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister Jennie Smithers, grandchildren Christopher Cooper, wife Tiffany, Timothy Cooper, wife Alicia, Brandy Blevins, husband Michael Thomas Dickerson, wife Arlene, Michael Dickerson wife Holly, as well as 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and numero0us other extended family members. A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 Noon on Sept . 12, with visitation beginning at 10:00n until time of Service at the East Hickman Baptist Church, 6418 Tates Creek Road. The family suggested donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the East Hickman Baptist Church in David’s memory. “ So fine a person, so good a soul, a life so well lived.” Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hager & Cundiff.
