Darrell Wayne Hill, Sr.

Darrell Wayne Hill Sr, age 66, passed on May 22 2018 with peace and grace in the comfort of his home.  Darrell was born July 13, 1951 to Harry and Evelyn Hill in Richmond, Ky.  He received his education in Richmond, Ky., graduating from Madison High School, class of 1972.  He served in the Vietnam War and went on to serve in the Navy Reserves until 1979.  In his pastime, Darrell liked to sing, travel, and watch sports.  He worked for Caesars Entertainment as a Floor Supervisor for many years where he is remembered for his warm smile.  Darrell was a member of Second Baptist Church in Las Vegas, NV where he served as an active member of the male chorus.  Darrell leaves to cherish his memories children Darrell Hill Jr., Damon Hill, Latanya and husband Lawrence Johnson; Brothers and sisters Betty J Garrett, Vaughn Hill, Forest Hill, and Frances Hill; ex-wife Carolyn J Cardwell; Step children Jamila Nelson and Derrick Tinsley; his grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Darrell Wayne Hill will be remembered for his voice and love of family.
