Lancaster: Constance ‘Connie’ Wineka Shaden, died Sat., Jan. 13 at Central Baptist Hospital. A native of Fort Thomas, KY, she was born Oct. 18, 1966. She is survived by her husband, Edward, a son, Justin, a daughter, Samantha, her father Bruce Wineka and wife, Veronica, three sisters, Martha Wade and husband, David, Tamatha Osborne, Melissa Wineka and husband, Roger Williamson, a brother, Greg Wineka and wife, Christina, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eddie and Joyce Shaden, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy McElfresh Wineka. Connie was a dedicated mother and was instrumental in establishing Toys for Tots in Garrard County. She was a former employee of the Parkette Drive-In, The Ketch, The Fifth Quarter, and Darrell’s Restaurant.
A celebration of her life will be held at HAGER & CUNDIFF FUNERAL HOME, Oak St. Nicholasville, 6 PM, Fri., Jan. 19. Family will receive friends from 4 PM until the time of service. View tribute and sign guest book hagerandcundifffunerals.com
