Connie Allan Williams

Connie Allan Williams, a lifelong resident of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away June 6, 2026surrounded by the love of family. Born on February 17, 1950, Connie lived a life defined by kindness, devotion, grace, & unwavering love for those closest to her. Connie shared more than 52 wonderful years of marriage with her high school sweetheart & the love of her life, Roy Williams. Together they built a beautiful life centered around faith, family, friendship, & the traditions they cherished. Their marriage was a shining example of commitment, partnership, & enduring love. She leaves behind a family who adored her and will forever treasure the memories they shared.

Connie is survived by her three children: Steve (Shiloh) Williams, Tracy (Donald) Day II, & Troy

(Breann) Williams. She was affectionately known as “Grammy” to her nine beloved grandchildren: Maria Allan Day, Donald Day III (Trey), Payton Michelle Williams, Tyler Mitchell Day, Tessa Tyler Williams, Parker Mae Williams, Bryce Mitchell Williams, Beau Williams & Terron Alexus Fryman. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she found immense joy in watching them grow, supporting their dreams, and creating lasting memories with each of them.

Connie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Harry Sutton & Dorothy Thompson, who instilled in her the values of hard work, compassion, and family that she carried throughout her life. For 41 years, Connie dedicated herself to her career with State Farm Insurance, where she built friendships and earned the respect and admiration of countless clients. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and genuine concern for others touched everyone she met.

Outside of work, Connie and Roy shared a passion for raising and showing Angus & Holstein cattle. As one of the founding members of the Jessamine County Beef Cattle Association, they spent many years traveling and exhibiting livestock. An example of her love and passion for livestock, was after their wedding, they attended the Beef Expo to show cattle. Their love of agriculture and the cattle industry became a family tradition that was proudly passed down to their children and grandchildren, many of whom followed in their footsteps by showing livestock themselves.

Connie and Roy also shared a love for horses, fishing and anything that included being outdoors. Together, they spent countless weekends riding trails with dear friends, making memories filled with laughter, friendship. Whether caring for cattle, riding horses, fishing or simply enjoying the beauty of the countryside, Connie found joy in life's simple pleasures and cherished every moment spent with those she loved. Connie was beautiful both inside and out. Though quiet in nature, she possessed a remarkable kindness that made everyone feel welcomed and valued. She was known for her sweet smile, her gentle heart, and her ability to

make others feel loved simply by being present. A devoted Disney enthusiast, Connie cherished the many trips she and Roy took to Disney over the years. Whether traveling with their children, grandchildren, friends, or simply enjoying time together, Disney was one of their favorite places to create treasured memories. They especially loved camping there and sharing those experiences with the people they loved most. Connie also found peace and happiness on the family farm. One of her favorite places was beside the creek, where she could sit quietly in the sunshine and take in the beauty of God's creation. It was a special place she often shared with her grandchildren, creating moments they will forever hold close to their hearts.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Harper, Karen, and the compassionate caregivers of Hospice of the Bluegrass for the exceptional care, comfort, and support they provided to Connie and her family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Williams Family Cemetery on the family farm.

Pallbearers will be Donald Day III (Trey), Tyler Day, Philip Williams, Robert Williams, Bryce Williams, Tim Taylor, & Ashley Moss. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Smith, Alma Setters, Diann Cundiff, Sandie Hammond, Maggie Taylor, Brenda Abbott, Brenda Jasper and Joann Staton.
