Charles Kenneth Puckett, 68, of Pinewood Dr. died Thursday, Jan. 10, at Corbin Nursing Home surrounded by his family. A native of Jessamine County he was born April 5, 1941, to the late Litford and Christina Puckett. Kenney was a entrepreneur having owned many businesses and enjoyed starting new ventures. He was a giving person and gave to many different charities. He is survived by his 8 children Charlene Kay Puckett Buchanan, husband Bill, Jamye Leigh Carr husband Cyrus, Charles Kenneth Puckett II, Casey Michelle Puckett, Justin Wade Calvert, wife Angela, Timothy Allen Puckett, Kenneth Christopher Puckett, wife Hannah, and Richard Burton Puckett, 3 sisters, Lillian Thompson, Anne Harrison, husband Jim, and Ruth Howard, a brother David ‘Tommy’ Puckett, 15 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Betty Puckett and Agnes Dean and a brother Litford ‘Junior’ Puckett.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, Jan. 11 with Rev. Jim Harrison officiating, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be sons Charles Kenneth Puckett II, Justin Calvert, Richard Puckett, and Timmy Puckett, grandsons Cody McQueen, Paul Buchanan, and Kenneth Buchanan. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 PM Sunday with Masonic Services to be held at 4:30 PM. Donations may be made in his memory to your favorite charity.
