Nicholasville: Charles E. ‘Chuck’ Drury, 61, of Camp Daniel Boone Rd., passed away Mon., Jan. 21, at V A Hospital. A native of Fayette County he was born Dec. 15, 1946, to the late Carl and Mary Alice Puckett Drury. He was a close friend of Ernie DeMoss and worked at Ernie’s Market in Spears. Survivors include a daughter Rhonda Drury, Danville, and children Dillon and Tori, a son Charles ‘Anthony’ Drury, wife Kim, Nicholasville, and children Brandon and Breanna, a daughter Jamie Callahan, Nicholasville, and children Tamara, husband Adam, Elwood, and Justice, 2 sisters Carolyn Dalton, Lexington, and Sarah Nethery, husband Mike, Nicholasville, a brother Bobbie Drury, wife Maddie, Nicholasville, numerous nieces, nephews, caring friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by 2 siblings and a special friend Marilyn Johnson Drury.

Services will be 11:30 AM Thurs., Jan. 24, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Riley officiating, burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews Carl and Ricky Houp, Jeff and Kenny Crutcher, Kim Masters, John-John Vickery, and his grandsons. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Wed., Jan. 23, at the funeral home.
