Anna Louise Chapman

Anna Louise Chapman, born August 21, 1933, age 92, died peacefully at her home on July 28th. She will be in eternal rest with her mother Minnie Mae Strange in Versailles Cemetery and the love of her life, Curtis Chapman in Wilmore Cemetery. Anna is also preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Haley.

She is survived by her two sons, Ken and Gary Chapman. Anna leaves behind four loving grandchildren Lee Chapman (wife Kin), Kristy Hess (husband Jamie), Chad Chapman (wife Kelly), and Lisa Chapman, along with six great grandchildren Hunter, Katie, Ethan, Braxton, Cade, Caldwell, and one great-great grandchild Kayden.

She enjoyed tackling her word searches or cheering along with her favorite game shows. Her joy was found gathered around the table with her grandchildren, where friendly board games, shared laughter, and unforgettable memories unfolded.

Cremation was chosen by Anna, and her family will greet friends on Wednesday, August 5, beginning at 5:00 PM until time of her Memorial Service at 6:30 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.

“If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart. I’ll stay there forever.” Cremation was entrusted to Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, who extends their most sincere sympathy to the Chapman family and their friends.
