Karen Lynn (Lowry) Thomas

Karen Lynn Lowry Thomas passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Baptist Health.  She was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Martin and Ann Lowry.  In additional to her parents she is survived by her two daughters, Ashlynn Kimble and Grayson Thomas, two grandsons Cash and Carson Kimble, a sister Kim Wallace, husband Travis, nieces Alex and Kennedy Tranter, Chancey and Reece Wallace and nephew Chase Tranter. She was loved and will be remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Karen was proceeded in death by a nephew Houston Wallace, A life long resident of Jessamine County she was involved with the Chamber of Commerce, Relay for Life, Wine and Vine Festival, and Nicholasville Now. Karen attended Old Paint Lick Presbyterian Church.  She was employed by the Jessamine County Clerk’s Office for over 15 years.  She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend.  Her family will greet friends at Southland Christian Church, Building B on Friday, December 7, 2018 beginning at 11:00 AM and  conclude with a Remembrance Memorial at 3:00 PM officiated by the Rev. Pamela Rucker.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Karen’s memory.
