Charles Edward Crabb, Sr.April 30, 1933 ~ November 23, 2017 (age 84)
Charles Edward Crabb, Sr., 84, loving husband of Linda, left his earthly home on Thursday, Nov. 23, surrounded by his family. Charlie was a native of Tennessee born April 30, 1933, to the late Ora H. and Lilly Mae Crabb. He was a retired employee of Delta Air Lines, a retired truck driver for Lamb Trucking, and a favorite greeter at Nicholasville Walmart. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He leaves to cherish his memories children Stacey Hartberger and Justin Hartberger, wife Sandra, grandchildren William and BrieAnna Treadwell, Cole, Charles and Catherine Hartberger, sisters Mary Baker and Nadine Whittenbarger and brothers Luther, Roy, and Bobbie Crabb, as well as his many friends who loved to see him at Walmart. A Remembrance Service will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with full military honors. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Justin Hartberger, DeWayne Eades, Ken Tular, Randy, Kelly, and Trevor Bates. His family will receive friends starting at 4:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM on Monday, Nov. 27. “Those we love walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near”.
