Billy Bradshaw Obituary

Billy Clay, Bradshaw, 75, father of Cindy Bradshaw Hill entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.  Billy was a native of Jessamine County born Oct. 21, 1943, to the late Thomas Clayton and Hazel Smith Bradshaw.  He was a retired employee of AB Dick, former employee of Stratton Hardware and Glenn Ford, where he was the Team Leader for the drivers. He was a member of the Edgewood Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon and attended for many years.  Billy was a talented and artistic woodworker creating many wonderful pieces of furniture for his family and many others.  His talent taught him to be precise and particular about his projects as well as his daily life.  He loved to fish and travel to Florida, where he had always wanted to retire to live.  In addition to his daughter her will be fondly remembered by his son-in-law Tony Hill, grandchildren Madison, Cam, and Jordan Hill, sister Betty Ann Blanton, as well as many extended family members.  Billy was preceded in death by sons Brian Thomas and Michael Clay Bradshaw, grandchildren Tyler and Courtney Hill, and brother Richard Wayne Bradshaw.  In accordance with Billy’s wishes, there will not be a visitation but a Graveside Remembrance at Keene Cemetery will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 25.  “We love because they lived and that brings us Joy.  Share their life”.
